Hail

We had a hail storm on Friday. Fortunately it lasted a little over four minutes and I was able to photograph it. It may be hard to tell but the stones were slightly smaller than the size of a pea. Not huge, but big enough to bounce around and stay on our front yard for a little while.

I'll bet your beautiful pansies loved it!

They liked the rain for sure but I think the hail might have been a bit too heavy for them. The tulips seemed to like both. They're really growing now.

Are any of your tulips blooming yet? Mine are not~

No, not yet. The tallest plants are only about four inches above the ground and most are just sprouting out of the ground. I have a feeling it'll be a month or two before they get close to blooming.

Some of our bulbs are coming up already and I feel sad for them because it's still getting really cold here at night. I hope they make it through the rest of the winter. I hope your plants didn't get hurt by the hail!

I bet your bulbs will be fine, Loren. Most likely they've been through this before and know what to do.
