Legally Blonde

Wednesday night Chad and I went downtown to have dinner and see a live performance of Legally Blonde. It was a cute show with some hilarious parts and I had such a fun time watching it. The musical is a bit different than the movie but it's still super cute. The photos on the right are quick Blackberry shots we took at the theater. The photo on the left is of me and author Karen McCullough Lutz. She wrote the screenplay for the original awesomely fantastic Legally Blonde movie (not the musical). She came to speak at my library in Glendale in 2006 and I was thrilled to meet her. (The poster you see in the background is what hung on my apartment wall for awhile. I brought it to work with me and had her sign it. Yay!) Side note: apparently Legally Blonde brings out the red jacket wearer in me. Weird.

Thank you Mom and Dad for the tickets to the show and for watching Maggie while we were there!

How'd you find that 2006 picture? You must have a good filing system.

It was fun to see your short hair in the 2006 photo. I like it both ways, long & short. It's not the same red jacket, right?

I DO have a good filing system and it helps that I have my photos organized. Unfortunately those older photos are on CD and those are packed nicely in boxes so they can waste away and out-date themselves soon. The old photo from this post is from my librarian friend Chuck who still works at GPL. He took the photo and is the unofficial library events photo archivist. Anyway... Loren, my hair in that photo is awful. It's growing out from short and I was trying to darken it--hence awkward length and the strange yellow tinge. Also, different jackets.

Loren's right Lyn, you're hair looked cute there and dad commented on it too. Looks good both long and short -
